1. Take Daily Walks

Walking is low-impact, free, and easy to fit into any schedule. Whether it’s a morning stroll or an evening walk with music or a podcast. I would sometimes walk laps around the courtyard at work on my break. Whatever way I choose to go for a walk, it always helps me clear my mind and get my steps in. These Adidas shoes are my go-to.

2. Try Online Workout Videos

There are tons of free or subscription-based workout videos for all levels. I love yoga, Pilates, and dance workouts that I can do in my living room. YouTube is a great resource for workouts. Some of my favorite creators are:

Heidi Somers
Yoga with Adriene
Move with Nicole

I’ve been using the Grounds app for over a year, and it has completely transformed my daily routine. As a long-time fan of the creator, Heidi Somers Guzman, I was inspired by her YouTube videos to give this app a shot. It allows me to try different at-home workouts, track my meals, water intake, and menstrual cycles, plus, I can easily journal, log my mood, and connect with the supportive Grounds community—all within one app! If you’re in search of a well-rounded wellness tool that makes a real difference, I highly recommend trying it out!

3. Dance It Out

Put on your favorite music and dance like no one’s watching. It’s a joyful way to move your body and boost your mood. This also helps when you have to do those pesky cleaning chores around the house too.

4. Use Household Items for Strength

Grab water bottles, canned goods, or resistance bands for quick strength training moves without fancy equipment.

5. Stretch and Move Regularly

Even 5-10 minutes of stretching or mobility exercises can help reduce stiffness and improve energy. I personally like BeardTheBestYouCanBe Amir Zandinejad for mobility.

💡 Bonus Tip: Make Movement Fun and Social

Invite a friend for a walk or join an online class together to stay motivated and accountable. It’s always more fun with friends.
